I'm writing to inform you of some exciting changes happening here at 180 Fitness, formerly SNAP Fitness!
Some of you have seen on social media or in the paper that our club is under new ownership. Melissa Stickel, Executive Director of Community Partnership of SEMO has purchased the gym and has big plans!
Over the next couple months we will be re-branding as 180 Fitness and will no longer be a Snap Fitness franchise. This will affect you in two main ways:
2. Your monthly membership fee will go down
The first big step will be changing over to a new gym management software. Our goal is to make this as seamless as possible, but we do ask for you to bear with us, as there may be unforeseen hiccups, although we will do everything we can to avoid this!
Once the new software is in place, all members will need to resign their documents and update payment information. We will be sending you an email letting you know when this will begin.
The other big change is that we have purchased a new building and will be re-locating once it's ready. The address to the new building is 18 N. Sprigg St - otherwise known as the historic Rigdon Laundry. This is a 6,000 sq. foot building and we will be able to provide a lot of new services and classes! The projected timeline to be in the new space is 8 months- however, we all know how these things go. The building will have some renovations and then there's the permit and licensing process, so it may be a bit longer.
We are in the process of adding new classes to our current schedule, and are looking for instructors of ANY kind! If you know of someone we might want to talk to, have them contact me, Tamatha, at 573-836-3446.
We have just added a Karate class on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, as well as private Karate lessons. For more information on that, you may contact the instructor, Nathan, at 573-200-2792.
