The time has come for me to take a break from accepting any new clients! What this will look like:

-Anyone who has booked with me in the past, even if we haven't seen each other in months, is welcome to reach out to me and book!

-If you have never scheduled with me, but are on the waitlist, you will still be able to schedule.

-If we have never had a session before and you are not already in the system through Square, you will NOT be able to book.

-The button for online booking has been taken down from the website for now. If you are a current client, you should be able to get to the books from texts and emails sent out through Square.

This has been a tough decision to make but I want to always be available to all of my current clients when it's time for us to schedule!

I am SO GRATEFUL for the support and love I receive from all of you!

What a time to be alive!

2026 has moved me in so many ways that I can’t even begin to comprehend.

I have felt pulled to move into a new space and the stars aligned to give me a beautiful studio at the Frederick Street Studios behind Annie Laurie's in March!

This new home will allow for the growth that this year is bringing.

My home at Yoga East Healing Arts Studio still has my heart (specifically the people in the home).

Savitri Atma Kaur and I will still offer our massage + sound bath sessions and you will still see me as a student in classes!

🌟Businesses are meant to grow, change, and evolve- just like people! Keeping our hearts open to what’s coming next and allowing ourselves to grieve the past chapter ending really keeps the energy moving. 🌟

I will still be at Yoga East through February but will see you in the new space in March!

Ahhhhh 2016.

The year I discovered I actually LOVE learning!

l have always been a scrappy learner. The traditional school system did not work for me. At least I didn’t think that was the case until I went to massage school. Everything clicked. I figured out how to study and how to pay attention.

The biggest reason being-

I WAS ACTUALLY INTERESTED.

It turns out, when you are passionate about something, everything else falls into place.

So here I am once again, 10 years later, taking my focused passion and interest and letting it teach me things beyond what I could have ever imagined!

I can’t wait to share my knowledge with the other scrappy learners out there who are interested in:

🌟Helping others manage their pain & connecting the dots between emotion and the physical body

🌟Deep, meaningful connections with others

🌟Learning more about yourself through self-study and observation

New name.. who dis?

Still me, just more official!

Along with the new name, expect a few new offerings available to you in 2026!

-Theory & Practice will offer community workshops, giving YOU a chance to learn the massage techniques you know and love to use on your friends and family! Watch your inbox (if you are a subscriber to my emails!) and Facebook for dates and details!

-Theory & Practice is expanding to offer a Massage Therapy Mentorship Program for the Cape Girardeau area tentatively in 2026! This program will provide YOU with the opportunity to become a licensed massage therapist! More details to come!

-Want a 1:1 massage technique session? Starting in February, T&P will offer private lessons for partners seeking to learn specific muscle release techniques to take home. These sessions will be $120/pair ($60/person) for 1 hour.

-Join Maggie Salem, RYT500 and Maggie Baltzell, LMT, RYT200 for a night of laughter, connection, and learning at our third annual Partner Yoga and Massage event! Each year we have witnessed lovebirds grow closer as they are led through couple's yoga poses and guided touch; sending them into the night with a renewed sense of connection.

Saturday, February 28th 4pm-6pm

Walking in the parade was the BIGGEST surge of holiday spirit I have experienced since I was a little kid! You can donate them at your regularly scheduled massage from now through December 23rd. Don’t have a massage on the schedule? Just DM me and we can arrange a drop-off time.

Donate 5 items and receive 1 entry to win a FREE 75 minute massage!

Winner will be announced on December 23rd so the massage can be gifted if desired.
