Last week, our Chamber staff and board members spent the day connecting with peers and community leaders from Paducah, Kentucky to exchange ideas around advocacy, leadership development, workforce pipelines, quality of life, and economic growth. We are grateful to the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce for the warm welcome and thoughtful conversations, along with insights from the City of Paducah and Mayor George Bray.
Highlights included tourism and creative placemaking discussions with the Paducah Convention & Visitors Bureau, workforce conversations at West Kentucky Community & Technical College, a campus tour of Murray State University, and an inspiring visit to the Paducah Innovation Hub. We wrapped up the day alongside regional partners including Greater Paducah Economic Development to share best practices and ideas we can bring back to Cape Girardeau.
Strong regions are built when communities learn from one another, and we are thankful for the opportunity to do just that.
