🦷 Braces are ancient!!!!
Long before modern orthodontics, people were already trying to straighten teeth. Archaeologists have found ancient mummies with metal bands around their teeth—proof that even thousands of years ago, healthy smiles mattered! Thankfully, today’s braces are much more comfortable (and cooler 😄).

Resolutions for the New Year with your little one can be fun & productive in teaching good habits!! Here are a few resolution ideas for when it comes to dental care:

🦷 My New Year’s Dental Resolutions - 2026 style:
1. I will brush my teeth twice every day. Once in the morning and once before bed.
3. I will brush for two full minutes (using timer or sing my favorite song)
4. I will use toothpaste with fluoride
5. I will floss once a day to clean between my teeth where my brush can’t reach.
6. I will rinse my mouth after eating sweets or brush when I can.
7. I will eat tooth-friendly snacks like fruits, vegetables, cheese, and yogurt.
8. I will drink lots of water, especially after meals and snacks.
9. I will visit the dentist twice this year, even if my teeth don’t hurt.
10. I will take care of my toothbrush. Keep it clean and replace it every 3 months.
11. I will smile proudly and take care of my teeth 😁
