On Saturday our Veterans enjoyed a gorgeous day drinking Stag and eating bologna burgers at Schindler's Tavern, New Hamburg, MO while they took in the greatness that is the Kow Pasture Klassic. Thank you to Kohlfeld Distributing and Schindler's Tavern for sponsoring this fundraiser for our Veterans and to War Child Riding Club for their wonderful donation. We also really appreciate everyone who made our Veterans feel special, especially the Missouri Highway Patrol, Scott County Sheriff's Office, Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department and War Child. The es**rt to New Hamburg was one for the books and we are so grateful.

This week is Volunteer Appreciation Week and today we celebrated our wonderful Volunteers with a luncheon and awards. In 2025 we had over 5,000 volunteer hours, the most we have had in the last three years! Thank you to all our volunteers, whether you come daily, weekly, monthly, with a group or as an individual we appreciate all you do for our Veterans!

On Saturday our Veterans enjoyed some amazing BBQ, good tunes by Ian Fergason and down home hospitality at the Gettin Sauced BBQ competition held at Richardet Flooring Covering in Perryville. This family fun event raises funds for Veteran Organizations in Southeast Missouri. Thank you to Richardet and all the sponsors for hosting us!
