It was an honor to host the CARE Symposium in June at the Century Casino Event Center. At this event, we heard from incredible speakers about how to prepare and equip our community for mental health and resilience. Thank you to our speakers, grant partners, advisory board, table vendors, and attendees for their invaluable contributions and support. Special thanks to the Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH)! We are excited to bring this event back next year!

Sometimes the hardest battles are the ones we can’t see. 💙

Living with PTSD can feel isolating, but it’s important to remember you’re not alone. Whether it’s a friend, family member, or someone in your community, many people are carrying unseen pain. What makes a difference is kindness, understanding, and letting them know we’re here to support them.

Today, on PTSD Awareness Day, take a moment to check in with someone who might be struggling. Learn about PTSD, share resources, or simply listen. Small acts of care can mean the world to someone who’s healing.

If you or someone you know needs help, reaching out is a brave and powerful step. Your pain is valid, and there’s hope for healing. You’ve got this. 💪
