The Specialist will design and deliver training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), develop Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for clinical staff, conduct quality audits of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and assist with functional behavior assessments (FBAs) for clients engaging in severe or complex behaviors.
This is a hybrid position, requiring a combination of remote work and in-person visits to client homes, schools, or clinic sites to support severe behavior cases, train teams, and ensure fidelity of implementation.

· Create and present CEU-eligible trainings for BCBAs and other clinical staff to support ongoing professional growth and BACB compliance.
· Provide in-person and remote coaching and performance feedback to RBTs and team leads.
· Model implementation of severe behavior protocols and train staff in evidence-based intervention strategies (e.g., FA procedures, FCT, crisis de-escalation, reinforcement schedules).
Clinical Support & Severe Behavior Consultation
· Support teams in the assessment, design, and implementation of BIPs for clients with severe behavior.
· Collaborate with BCBAs to conduct and assist in FBAs, data analysis, and treatment plan development.
· Provide in-person consultation and modeling during high-intensity cases or crisis interventions.
· Ensure interventions are implemented with high treatment integrity and in accordance with ethical and professional standards.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
· Conduct regular quality assurance checks on BIPs, data collection systems, and treatment fidelity.
· Review documentation and provide feedback to ensure plans meet clinical, ethical, and insurance standards.
· Assist in monitoring overall program quality and identify areas for improvement across teams and locations.
· Support compliance with BACB, payer, and state regulatory requirements.
---
Qualifications:
Required:

· Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
· Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in ABA, including at least 1 year working with severe behavior cases.
· Demonstrated experience training or supervising RBTs and developing CEUs or staff training modules.
· Strong knowledge of behavior analytic principles, assessment tools (FA, FBA), and evidence-based interventions.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
· Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed (10–25%).
Preferred:
· BCBA-D certification or advanced specialization in severe behavior analysis.
· Experience with crisis management, restraint reduction, or trauma-informed ABA practices.
· Familiarity with data analytics tools and electronic health record systems (e.g., CentralReach).
---
Compensation & Benefits:
· Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
· CEU and professional development support.
· Mileage reimbursement and travel stipends for in-person visits.
· Flexible hybrid schedule.
· Health, dental, and vision benefits.
· Opportunities for leadership growth within the clinical team.
---
Work Environment:
This position blends remote administrative work (training development, quality assurance reviews) with in-person clinical engagement, including team trainings, observations, and hands-on support for severe behavior programs. Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
