Ask the Counselor: Dani H

1. What's your favorite book? The Women by Kristin Hannah

2. How long did it take you to finish the National Counselor Exam? 2 hours exactly

3. What's your zodiac sign? Libra

4. What is something you wish more people knew about mental health?
There is no right or wrong way to experience mental health. It's so variable, and you aren't "crazy" for experiencing a wide range of emotions, thoughts, etc. We're all coping as best we can with what we have, even if that means finding comfort in the uncomfortable.

Ask the Counselor: Travis S

A really memorable book was Hellhound on his Tail.

2. How long did it take you to finish the National Counselor Exam? That was 20 years ago...and I have no recollection other than I passed.

3. What's your zodiac sign? Libra

4. What is something you wish more people knew about mental health?
Maybe that generally things work out. People do the best they can with what they know and what they have. Patience, compassion and determination help with getting to a better place.
