In honor of Heart Month, we're shining a spotlight on Jennifer from OTF Corvallis. 2 years ago, Jennifer survived a heart attack. Just 57 days later, she was back in the studio — not because the journey was easy, but because movement, community, and hope mattered deeply to her. ​

After her heart attack, Jennifer began cardiac rehab — a humbling experience for someone who had been active and a regular at OTF. It meant slow walks on a treadmill, constant monitoring by a medical team, and a crash cart within arm’s reach. It was a long, painful road, but it was the road she needed to take to find her new normal. ​

Jennifer and her studio wear red with pride. National Wear Red Day is especially close to her heart because it helps shine a light on heart and cardiovascular disease in women — and the importance of knowing the signs, which can often look different than they do in men.​

Her story is a reminder of resilience, strength, and the power of listening to your body ❤️ Throughout the month, we’ll be wearing red for stories like Jennifer’s — and for every heart that keeps showing up.

Our hearts carry us through every workout and challenge, giving us the strength to show up for the people and moments that matter most. By coming together as a community, we have the opportunity to turn movement into momentum and effort into real impact. ​

Challenge your limits with HYROX classes, perfect for getting yourself race-ready or just taking your performance to the next level. Expect OTF elements (treadmill intervals, rowing, strength, endurance) cranked up with a HYROX twist.

HYROX is a fitness race that invites competitors from all fitness levels, all around the world, to take on a combination of running and functional fitness stations (think rowing, lunging, sled push, and more). Every HYROX race is the same structure: a 1km run, followed by one functional fitness station, repeated 8 times.

In short, it’s a blast. It’s a chance to step outside your comfort zone, supercharge results, boost performance, and maybe put a HYROX race on your bucket list.
