A HIGH SPEED LESSON IN DESIGN

Japanese high speed bullet trains were engineered to travel at nearly 200 miles per hour. But early on, they faced a serious and costly problem. Every time the train blasted into a tunnel at full speed, it generated a thunderous pressure wave, essentially a sonic boom. Passengers were disturbed, nearby communities were rattled, and tunnel structures suffered damage. Engineers tried adjustment after adjustment, yet the problem refused to yield.

The breakthrough did not come from a computer model or a wind tunnel alone. It came from observing creation. One engineer noticed how the kingfisher bird dives from air into water at high speed without producing a splash. Air and water are both fluids. If the bird could transition between them smoothly, perhaps the same principle could apply to a train entering a tunnel. When engineers reshaped the nose of the train to precisely match the kingfisher’s beak, the results were undeniable.

The sonic boom vanished. The train became about 10 percent faster. Energy use dropped by roughly 15 percent. What human ingenuity could not solve by trial and error was solved instantly by copying a design that already worked perfectly. Nature did not invent this solution. God did. Engineers succeed not by inventing brilliance from nothing, but by humbly uncovering and imitating the flawless designs already written into creation.

Former Pfizer chief scientific officer Dr. Mike Yeadon has made some of the most explosive allegations yet about the COVID era, claiming the molecular design of the vaccines had “no other purpose but to injure and kill.”
