🎈Please welcome our new instructor, Kate!

💐Kate first discovered yoga when she wanted a good stretch and sweat after skiing, biking, and hiking.

✨Her love for yoga evolved during her time in Asia, where she traveled to the very places where yoga first began, realizing she had only scratched the surface of what it truly means to be a yogi.

🧘Kate teaches breath-centered Vinyasa every Tuesday at 5:00 pm at White Horse Yoga.

Please welcome our new instructor Taylor!⁣

She found yoga 15 years ago and fell completely in love. The practice woke her up to the divinity in all and continues to keep her anchored in connection. ⁣
⁣
She was certified in Vinyasa and Ashtanga in the lineage of Krishnamacharya, but also teaches yin, hatha, restorative, kirtan, and more. ⁣
⁣
Her personal practice has always been a way for her to come home to her heart. She is so honored to share her love of yoga with the students at White Horse!⁣
⁣
Taylor is teaching Vinyasa on Tuesdays at 7:00 am for the summer, and this Monday at 8:30 am.⁣

This week at White Horse Yoga, we’re moving upward into the fifth chakra—Vishuddha, the center of communication, truth, and authentic self-expression.

Located at the throat, Vishuddha is associated with the element of ether (space), the color blue, and the mantra “I SPEAK.”

When balanced, this chakra allows us to speak clearly and truthfully, to listen deeply, and to express ourselves without fear. When imbalanced, we may feel unheard, misunderstood, or disconnected from our own inner voice.

To support this energy, we’ll be using Bhramari and working with Chair Pose (Utkatasana)—a powerful posture that asks us to sit into discomfort, stay steady, and breathe through resistance. Chair Pose strengthens the foundation of the body while encouraging a lifting and openness through the chest and throat so that you are empowered to speak your truth. The heart center is the bridge between the lower three Chakras and the upper three… the gateway between worldly desires and spiritual pursuits.⁣

We’re pairing this energy with Handstand (Adho Mukha Vrksasana), a bold inversion that challenges us to lead with courage and trust. ⁣
⁣
Practicing them together invites us to open the heart while building inner strength and resilience—helping us stay grounded, open, and present even when life feels upside down.⁣

I believe that yoga is the most powerful tool for healing ourselves and for healing the planet.⁣⁣ When we are at our best, everything around us is better!

Please welcome our new instructor, Alysia! She is a mom of two who is passionate about movement and flow. ⁣
⁣
She discovered yoga in 2013, drawn in by its physical practice, but over the years, she deepened her knowledge through trainings in Vinyasa, Rocket Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin, and Restorative Yoga. ⁣
⁣
Alysia’s Vinyasa classes are accessible, creative, and challenging, inviting students to explore transitions, arm balances, and inversions with safe alignment. With a soundtrack of downtempo electronic and soft instrumentals, her classes create a space where movement meets mindfulness, helping you find balance and flow.⁣
⁣
Alysia is going to be leading monthly Rocket Yoga workshops at White Horse Yoga and you can enjoy her first class with us tomorrow, March 4th at Noon. We are so excited to have her on our team!⁣

One of my main missions at White Horse Yoga is to create a thriving community of passionate, like-minded people who support each other in raising the consciousness of the world.⁣
⁣
I believe that Yoga (asana, pranayama, and, most importantly, meditation) is the most powerful tool for healing ourselves and the world. It takes more than one person to make a difference so we’ve started a monthly community circle.⁣
⁣
The first Sunday of each month we are offering an opportunity for everyone to come together, break bread, share and hold space. ⁣
⁣⁣
