❤️This little one is helping us spread an important message ❤️

During American Heart Month, our tiniest patients are wearing red to raise awareness about congenital heart disease (CHD) — the most common birth defect, affecting nearly 1 in 100 babies.

A very special thank you to our amazing volunteers who lovingly knitted and crocheted these precious red hats. Each stitch represents hope, education, and support for families impacted by CHD.

Early awareness, prenatal education, and newborn screening save lives. We are proud to care for little hearts — and grateful for a community that helps us wrap them in warmth and love. ❤️❤️❤️

Here at the SIH Birthing Center, we don’t just focus on moms — we also educate families about congenital heart disease and the importance of early detection for our littlest patients. From prenatal education to newborn screenings, we are committed to caring for every heart, big and small.
