Everyone had a wonderful time creating festive St. Patrick’s Day crafts. From shamrocks to colorful decorations, the creativity and laughter filled the room! 🎨💚
Activities like these are a great way for our residents to express themselves, stay active, and celebrate the upcoming holiday together. We can’t wait to decorate the halls with all their beautiful creations!

Our “Hearts Across America” Valentine’s Day Card Exchange was a huge success! 💌✨
Residents and staff had so much fun collecting Valentine’s cards from (almost!) all 50 states. Watching the excitement grow as cards arrived from across the country was truly heartwarming.
From coast to coast, your kindness helped fill our halls with smiles, laughter, and love. 💕 Thank you to everyone who took the time to send a card and brighten our residents’ day.

Every day feels like a celebration here at Carbondale Rehab and Healthcare Center! 🎉
The party really gets started when our favorite volunteer, Luke, comes to visit with his music! 🎶💙 Luke shares his incredible talent by singing for our residents, filling the room with familiar tunes, toe-tapping rhythms, and plenty of smiles.

From clapping hands to singing along, our residents absolutely love the joy and energy he brings. Music has a special way of bringing back memories, lifting spirits, and bringing everyone together!

Today our residents celebrated with some great country tunes and a fun pizza party filled with laughter, smiles, and sweet moments together. There’s nothing better than good music, good food, and even better company! 🎶🍕

A very special thank you to the wonderful students at Lakeland Elementary School for the beautiful Valentine’s Day cards made especially for our residents. Your thoughtful messages truly warmed our hearts and made the day even more special.

And a big congratulations to our Valentine’s royalty — Queen Georgeanna and King Dale! 👑💕 We are so proud to celebrate you both and the joy you bring to our community.

Our Hearts Across America Valentine’s Day card project is in full swing, and our hearts are SO full! 💕
We’ve received cards from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Colorado, California, Nebraska — and even Hawaii! 🌎💌
Every time a new batch arrives, our residents (and staff!) light up with excitement. The kindness, love, and thoughtfulness behind each card truly means more than words can say.

🎉🎂 We celebrated a very special milestone today — a 102nd birthday! 🎂🎉
Mr. Joesph Kvaka turned 102 today, and what an honor it was to celebrate him. Mr. Kvaka is a proud WWII veteran who was stationed at Pearl Harbor, and his story is truly inspiring.
Our amazing volunteer Luke helped make the day extra special by presenting Mr. Kvaka with a patriotic blanket, a new Veteran Hat, and a certificate in recognition of his service. 🇺🇸❤️
What an incredible life, and what an amazing birthday celebration!
