I haven’t posted regularly on Instagram in years — life, work, and a lack of motivation all played a part. Honestly, I stepped back because I didn’t have the time, didn’t want to feel like I was showing off, and just got a bit bored with it all.

But lately, I’ve felt that pull again — to share my running journey, my ups and downs, and everything I’ve learned along the way.

I’m excited to reconnect here and make this space about inspiration, progress, and real-life running. 🏃‍♂️

Thanks for the “Best Day Ever” shades. They served me well on yesterday’s traverse of the Boulder Skyline. I have worn many a pair of sunglasses in my day and have to say that my Motives are my favorite running eyewear to date!

I made it out my house today for a solo run. While I completed my usual loop, this is the first time I have done so with my face covered. I fully support the to recommend masking. It makes sense in that masks will decrease the risk of spreading micro-droplets in the event that you are an asymptotic carrier of . The uncomfortable and scary pain cave
The marathon is the perfect metaphor for life. If you want to be great you need to go all in.
When you are all in things are scary. You are riding the edge between failure and success.
Last week I ran consistent and hard. I was in total control the entire race. Today I feel like I could have gone harder.
The truth is... I didn’t want to. Going all in is really hard and uncomfortable. I have tremendous respect to those who are able to leave it all on the course. Maybe next race will be my chance to go all in. Until then, I will enjoy the process.
Thanks to my family for letting me pursue this crazy sport and to Newton running for the shoes that have kept me injury free and running smooth.
