I saw a LMT post this so I also wanted to post this. I wish I could tag some of my clients..
👉🏼 If you think one massage will fix everything, you may be disappointed. Healing and long term relief takes consistency, and a holistic plan, not just quick fixes.
👉🏼 More pressure isn’t always better. Sometimes it is. But if you’re asking your therapist to “go deeper,” but you’re not able to fully relax into that pressure, you might actually be working against your own body.
👉🏼 Pain isn’t always from “tight muscles.” Sometimes the real culprit is weakness, imbalance, or nervous system dysregulation.
👉🏼 If you’re ignoring strength, mobility, posture, or lifestyle, you’re leaving results on the table. Massage works best when it’s part of the bigger picture.
👉🏼 Every body is different. What worked for your friend might not work for you. Personalized care is always better than cookie-cutter fixes.
