Due to localized flooding and road closures, our office will be closed this morning. We will try and open around lunch if the roads open and the water recedes. Please do not drive through standing water to try and get to our office. Once roads are safe for travel, the office will reach out to you to reschedule if you missed an appointment this morning. The safety of our patientsand staff is our utmost priority!

Adult Primary Care of Acadiana will remained closed Thursday 1/23/2025 due to the freezing weather and road conditions. We are planning to open Friday morning and will try to get everyone rescheduled and all questions or concerns answered. Stay warm!

Internal Medicine Group of Acadiana-Carencro Adult Clinic is excited to welcome Crystal Hancox, FNP. She is currently seeing patients at the Carencro Adult Clinic, ages 15 and up. Call us at 337-806-9913 to schedule your appointment! Walk-ins also accepted!

About Mrs. Crystal:

Crystal Hancox MSN, APRN, FNP-C is from Youngsville and currently lives in the Lafayette area. Crystal attended University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) where she earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing in 2004. She returned to University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2013, where she obtained her Master's of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner degree in December 2015. Crystal is a current member and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She has practiced nursing for 12 plus years and has been a Nurse Practitioner for 8 years. Her nursing experience includes Pediatric ICU, Pediatric ER, and ER. She brings with her experience in both Primary Care and Urgent Care as a Nurse Practitioner. She is very excited to join Carencro Adult Clinic, and looks forward to providing services and building relationships with the community in Carencro. She is married to her husband, Jeremy Hancox, and together they have two amazing children, Emery and Daxton. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, and watching her children play sports.

Shonetelle Coleman, FNP is no longer seeing patients at Internal Medicine Group of Acadiana-Carencro Adult Clinic. We express sadness over her departure from Internal Medicine Group of Acadiana, we also extend our best wishes for her future endeavors as she moves forward in her career.

To ensure that there is no disruption in patient care following Shontelle's departure, Crystal Hancox, also an FNP, will assume her responsibilities at the Carencro location.
