We’re excited to invite you and your family to our Fire Prevention Day Open House on Sunday, September 21st, 2025 from Noon–4:00 PM at the Carey Fire Department!

This is our very first time hosting this event, and we’ve designed it to be a fun, family-friendly, and educational afternoon. Come learn about fire safety, meet your local firefighters, and enjoy hands-on activities for all ages.

Friday, August 1 - We will be open from 8:30-12. No parking on the street, so plan ahead!

Saturday, August 2 - CLOSED.

Findlay Street in front of the office will be closed tomorrow. Give yourself a few extra minutes to get to your appointment, maybe park down towards Patterson Street and take a little walk? On a positive note, it's supposed to be a nice day! 🌞

Updated as of 4/30: The contractor will try to pave between Carey and the Seneca County Line today, April 30.
Updated as of 4/24: The U.S. 23 closure will begin April 28.
