Professional Home Nursing wants to make you all aware about a danger of Scams. We have been receiving multiple calls daily from people out in the community returning a call stating they missed a call from our office number. The scammers are using our office number and identifying themselves as Professional Home Nursing requesting information such has, Social Security numbers or if the person they are trying to scam has a new Medicare card number. Please DO NOT give them your information. Professional Home Nursing would not request this information over the phone.

This enables everyone to evaluate and compare patient improvements and satisfaction with agency services in order to make an informed healthcare decision. Professional Home Nursing wants to take this opportunity to share with you some data retrieved from Home Health Compare posted on January 19, 2022. We are so grateful for our partnerships with other organizations across the State of Maine. We value these relationships and appreciate the care and support they provide for our clients. On Valentine's Day we decided to thank some of our partners who have continued to provide in-person resources and services for Maine's isolated seniors throughout this pandemic. We gave thank you cards with gift cards to Southern Maine Agency on AgingMeals on Wheels volunteers in Southern Maine and Professional Home Nursing home health providers in Caribou Maine.

We are grateful to the following businesses who donated gift cards for these frontline workers: Dunkin Donuts, Pleasant St., Brunswick;The Maine Bagel, Scarborough; Starbucks, Scarborough; Scarborough Grounds, Scarborough; and, Starbucks, Topsham. We were also fortunate to have an anonymous donor contribute gift cards. It was a community effort. Thank you to all who continue to provide support for Maine's most vulnerable population during these unprecedented times.
