Wholeness… wholeness is not something we find. It is inherently there. Inside of us. We just have to remember the knowing. We already come into this life whole and complete and then somewhere along the way (usually during our childhood), something or someone tells us we need to be fixed, that there will always be something to strive for, something that is… missing. We don’t need to prove that we are loveable. That’s impossible. It’s the ego game and it is so fu***ng finite. Trust me. I’ve played that game and the serotonin hit you get from external validation feels nice but it’s fleeting. You are inherently loved because love is the core of who you are. We all are. Some of us resist that knowing because it actually gives us all the power and that can be scary when we’ve been programmed to trust the known. To follow the path that somebody else has laid out for us.
Instead of flowing through life like water, we grasp onto it… we cling… for love, for validation, for confirmation we are on the right path but here’s the thing. You can’t grasp on to water. It will always slip through our finger tips and if we try to contain it, it stagnats, it festers into sickness and disease.
YOU know exactly what you need. Everything you need is already inside of you.
