⛳ Springfield Clinic Sports Medicine hosted the 2025 Coaches Golf Outing at Lincoln Greens, bringing together golfers for a sunny day of friendly competition, fun contests and support for future educational opportunities.

💙 The 3rd annual Limb Loss & Limb Difference Activity Day brought together community members for a day of fun, movement and connection. Attendees enjoyed adaptive activities like rock climbing, wheelchair basketball, painting, yoga and a running clinic, plus tricycle giveaways from AMBUCS and bites from the Delicious Lee Dishes food truck.

📢 Jen Boyer, CEO of Springfield Clinic, joined community and project leaders for a press conference to announce the inflation of the Springfield Clinic Dome at the SCHEELS Sports Park. The Springfield Clinic Dome is the largest air supported indoor sports dome in the world at 715 feet long and 275 feet wide and 96 feet tall at its peak.

We are saddened to share the passing of Dr. Stuart Yaffe, a former Springfield Clinic physician, who passed away on June 11.

Dr. Yaffe served our community with compassion and dedication, and his legacy lives on in the countless lives he impacted during his time with Springfield Clinic. We also extend our heartfelt condolences to his daughter, Dr. Kim Schoenburg, a former Springfield Clinic physician who is pictured here alongside her father, and to all of Dr. Yaffe’s family, friends and former patients.

His commitment to care will always be remembered.

On Thursday, Nov. 21, Springfield Clinic joined the nation in honoring National Rural Health Day—and our team turned green to celebrate! 💚

This year is extra special as it marks 30 years of commitment to rural communities. Our journey began in 1994 with the opening of our first Rural Health Clinic in Hillsboro East. Today, we’ve expanded to 16 Rural Health Clinics, proudly serving over 76,000 patients in the past year.

Join us in congratulating Amy Goeckner, Springfield Clinic rural health clinic coordinator, with her recent completion of the Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional Course and Exam through the National Association of Rural Health Clinics (NARHC)!

Amy is a registered nurse and has been part of the quality management and rural health team at Springfield Clinic since 2022. She assists our 16 rural health clinics across our region with compliance and reporting.

Amy says, "I am so fortunate to be involved with our rural clinics and bring a better understanding to the importance of why they exist. The overall benefit they bring the the rural communities is outstanding. By being a certified rural health clinic professional, I can feel confident and assured that I am bringing the most of my knowledge to our practices to help them continue to thrive."
