In an emergency, the actions taken in the first few minutes can save a life. That’s why we’re excited to continued offer American Heart Association (AHA) CPR and first aid classes designed for individuals, workplaces, and organizations across our community. Whether you’re responsible for staff safety, caring for children, serving the public, or simply want to be prepared for your family and neighbors, these classes provide the skills and confidence to act when it matters most.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
This course is designed for healthcare professionals and public safety personnel who need CPR certification as part of their job. Ideal healthcare workers, EMTs, first responders, school nurses, and clinical staff. BLS meets AHA employer and licensure requirements.
BLS training includes:
• High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
• Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Relief of choking
• Team-based CPR and emergency response
• Emphasis on critical thinking and hands-on skill practice
Heartsaver® CPR AED First Aid
Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone who wants to learn lifesaving skills, no medical background required. Ideal for teachers, childcare providers, coaches, workplace safety teams, parents, faith leaders, parents, babysitters, and community members. Heartsaver meets OSHA and workplace safety training standards.
Heartsaver training includes:
• Adult, child, and infant CPR
• AED use
• Choking response
• First Aid content (bleeding, burns, sudden illness, and more)!
