I’ll be set up at the Strawberry Festival at Stepping Stone Farm today and tomorrow! There will U-Pick strawberries, live music, a strawberry jam contest, lots of food and over 100 other vendors. 🍓

I meant to post this a few days ago but posted it to the wrong page 😅 So, ILLINOIS FRIENDS, let me know by the end of the day if you’d like me to bring anything back by the end of the day 😊

I have three different salves and will be making tons of soap tomorrow! Illinois friends, I’ll be home Friday so you could pick up Friday or Saturday and have it in time for Mother’s Day! ♥️ Kentucky friends, I can leave them in the shop here if you need them before the weekend. 🌱 Dandelion Salve: extremely hydrating, great for sore muscles, hand moisturizer (I use mine after long days trimming or in the garden), achy joints, or as chapstick

🌱Comfrey Salve: has been called “knit bone” because of the plants ability to rejuvenate cells, great for aches and pains. I used it when I herniated a disc and Logan uses it when he has issues with his ankles from spraining them too much. An Amish friend of mine used it on her poison ivy and it cleared much faster than normal.

🌱 Plantain: helps repair inflamed skin, draws out the itch and pain of bug bites and bee stings, sunburn, and this is what we use for diaper rashes.

The farmers market is fully covered so no need for an umbrella ☔️

I taught a foraging class a couple weeks ago and we infused dandelions in oil and with that oil I made some soap yesterday! 🌱

Dandelion infused oil has been known to help clear out pores and helps prevent acne, reduces inflammation and redness, and detoxifies the skin. Adding it to soap makes it easy to make it a part of your every day routine!

It is scented with lemongrass and clary sage essential oil and colored with organic wheat grass powder, yellow clay, and has a small amount of cocoa powder. If you want to get more updates about all the soaps I make, follow along at Intentional Living Soaps !🧼

✨It’s Small Business Saturday! All bars are 5 for $25 until midnight tonight! ✨

There’s so much that goes into making a small business work and sometimes that means working over Thanksgiving. My daughter and I traveled 486 miles (one way) to be with my family for Thanksgiving. BUT that didn’t mean that we weren’t making soap! I hauled all my soap making supplies home and my dad and I made about 50 bars, my uncle and nephew helped me stamp the grinch soaps (picture), my nephew and niece helped me cut the bars for the peppermint, sweet orange and pink eucalyptus, while my mom is making sure all the orders that I left behind get delivered/picked up.

When you shop from a small business the love and intention put into each bar just can’t be matched with the big box stores. Consider shopping small this Saturday if you haven’t already!
