A common goal that parents have for their child's therapy is for the child to learn how to self regulate. While that is an important skill and one that is certainly addressed over the course of treatment, it isn't "taught". It's experienced.
Parents are the strongest asset in their child's therapy! 💪🏻
That's why I spent a year training under Robyn and her team, learning how to support parents dealing with the most baffling behaviors. As a Registered Facilitator of Raising Kids with Big Baffling Behaviors: A Course for Parents/Caregivers created by Robyn Gobbel, I help parents understand their child's behavior, what it's communicating, and what to do about it. 🧠
If you want to stop playing behavior wack-a-mole and improve your relationship with your child, reach out to learn more about the parent course!
