After a long absence due to Covid 19, I will be reopening my studio on Thursday, July 16th.This has been a very hard decision and process. There doesn't seem to be good guidelines for reopening, so I have read as much as possible to make good choices. I also will be limiting the number of massages that I do each day to 2,because of my own health issues. Most of you will understand what I am talking about. That being said.........
These are the protocols that I have come up with:
The therapist (me) will be wearing a mask as well as gloves. Door k***s, as well as the table and headrest will be cleaned and disinfected after each client leaves. Anything that came in contact with the client will be disinfected also - ie: Gua sha tools etc.
The Client: Must wear a mask and be free of any signs or symptoms of the virus. Also they should not have been in contact with anyone who tested positive for the virus.
I do have an alternative if you feel you would like a massage but are apprehensive about returning also. I have purchased a wonderful electric massage chair. It is the
Titan Pro Commander FDA 3D Massage Full Body Massage Recliner Zero Gravity. It can give a full body massage while still dressed (except for shoes). Let's face it, it will never take the place of human hands, but with everything involved with the pandemic I believe it is a good alternative. The chair will be disinfected before and after the massage is completed. I purchased it for myself when I was unable to get a massage for the many months that I could not be open. I have to admit, it does a pretty good job. It has several preset massages as well the ability to pick and choose what you are most interested in. For the first visit, I would explain the chair and how it works and then after that you would be able to operate it on your own.
If you would like to schedule an appointment for a massage or the massage chair, please contact me by phone tor text at 717- 448-7888. I am sure there will be many questions so please feel free to contact me directly and we can discuss them.
I have missed you and look forward to seeing you again!
