The holiday season is around the corner. We are so lucky to be in a community with many that want to support families and students through the holiday season. If you are wanting to donate or help adopt a family please reach out to Kayla Price, CCA Chairman, at 515-989-0625 or Kprice325@hotmail.com by Friday, October 31st to adopt a family or with questions. It helps to reach out to her soon so the organization can plan accordingly.

I am working on a project at Hartford Elementary and we are in need of acrylic paint. If you have any at home that needs a new home or put to use let me know. It is needed by Monday, October 6th. You can send it to school with your child, drop it off at the Hartford Elementary office, or let me know and I would be happy to arrange a pick up.

Do you know somebody that had been through a recent loss that would benefit from a "Cheer Box"? Read the directions below to spread some joy.

Cheer Box season is almost here!

For many who have lost a loved one, the holiday season can be especially difficult. Cheer Boxes are filled with family-friendly gifts and delivered to individuals and families who are grieving, as a way to remind them that they are not alone. EveryStep Grief & Loss Services hopes to share Cheer Boxes with hundreds of families this holiday season.

Nominations remain anonymous and are hand delivered by Amanda the Panda volunteers across the state. The nomination process is simple! Click on the link below to nominate a student, staff member, friend, or family member.
