Member Spotlight: Edie Eckerle

Edie Eckerle is a member of the Harrisburg Bicycle Club Group and has always been active. However, she lacked strength and need a professional approach to her fitess before her big bike trip. She received a persoanlized exercise program and was able to face her 2-week bike tour without reservation! She is able to do everything she loves to do with strength and ease. If you do not have a workout bench and/or have existing shoulder issues, the 2-DB Floor Press is a great exercise for you! This exercise strengthens the chest and shoulders and is a safer alternative from the traditional DB bench press. The floor prevents the elbows from dropping any lower which places less stress on the shoulders. Try this exercise at home!

Summer often brings vacations, special events, and unpredictable schedules but if you have fitness goals then consistency is key. You do not always need access to a gym to continue your progress on strength, mobility, and balance. All you need is yourself, although some equipment can be beneficial. That is why we would like to intoduce our online training option for anyone who wants to improve their health and wellness but have difficulty getting in the gym, especially around vacation times.
