🍝✨ What a heartwarming day in our community kitchen!

👩‍🍳 Chef Adam Soria led an amazing resident cooking class, and it was pure joy to see the smiles and excitement on our residents’ faces. Many of these incredible ladies spent years in the kitchen, and it was so special to see them doing what they love again. ❤️

The class was made even more personal with homemade aprons from our Executive Director’s mom—and yes, they made homemade pasta from scratch! Seeing the pride and laughter as they worked together was truly unforgettable. 💛✨

🎉🌮 What a Week! 🌮🎉

We wrapped up National Assisted Living Week in true fiesta style — with delicious food, bright colors, and plenty of smiles!

Our friends at AccentCare Hospice & Palliative Care spoiled us with a cozy Mexican Hot Chocolate Bar (thank you, Julia and Co. ❤️) before we gathered for a festive "Vamos a Comer" lunch featuring tasty Latin flavors. 🌮🌯🍽️

Afterward, residents took a sunny stroll through the beautiful Oceanside Harbor—the perfect way to top off a day of celebration.
Everyone showed up in their best fiesta attire, bringing color, joy, and so much energy to the party. 🌺🎊

Thank you to everyone who made this week so special — we loved every moment! 🧡

Thursday, September 11 – Patriot Day at Laguna Estates

As part of National Assisted Living Week, our staff and community came together to honor the heroes and remember the lives lost. After a moment of reflection, we still found time to celebrate during Treasures and Tales, where residents and staff showcased all kinds of cool things ✨💛 — including a photo of a Jeopardy! question about one of our residents, who served as an NHL off-ice official 🏒📸!

It was a beautiful day of reflection, storytelling, and connection — a reminder of the incredible lives and history within our community.

❄️🌌 Wednesday’s Northern Lights Fun! 🍦🎶

Staff and residents shined in Alaska Northern Lights–inspired colors and staff enjoyed lunch sponsored by Aleka from Seaport Hospice. We also went on The Great Ice Cream Escape to Handel’s Ice Cream Shop and wrapped up the day with Happy Hour featuring one of our favorite entertainers, Vincent Young 🎤💛!

🌈✌️ Tuesday’s Tie-Dye Fun! 🍦🎉

Residents embraced their hippie vibes with colorful tie-dye wear 👕🌸, enjoyed a Root Beer Float Social courtesy of Pierce from Cabrillo Hospice, and got creative tie-dying scarves — now hanging out to dry and show off their vibrant designs! ✨ The day ended with BINGO AFTER DARK! 🌙🎲

🌴🎉Monday’s Caribbean Day Highlights! 🌺🍍

Residents rocked colorful Caribbean wear, savored a Taste of the Tropics lunch, and got creative with a palm tree art project. Sweet treats? Cupcakes by Allison & Juliet from Hospice of the North Coast!

The fun went virtual too 🌊🦈 — Shark Quest and Caribbean Depths brought the tropics to life, thanks to Jeremy & Lightening Tours ✨🎮.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave heroes who selflessly served during the tragedy of 9/11, as well as the individuals and families who endured unimaginable loss and suffering. At Sinceri Senior Living, we extend our deepest gratitude to all who showed incredible courage, and our hearts remain with all those affected by that day.
