Join us tonight at 7 pm for our first Kirtan of 2026! This will be our inaugural event of the Yoga on State's Winter Yoga Teacher Training.

Join us in devotional practice as we celebrate Magha Gupta Navaratri, the "hidden" festival of inner work and transformation. As we chant with our beautiful community, we will invoke the energies of the Divine Mother. Tonight we particularly focus on Ma Saraswati, whose special tithi, Vacant Panchami, falls on the fifth night.

Come share this special night with Trevor, Zarah, Brian, Lauren, and special guest Alex Alberti and the Yoga on State community.

Sirsasana (headstand pose), the king of all poses👑 This asana increases blood flow to the brain and provides many health and wellness benefits including aiding digestion, hair growth, concentration, circulation, and calms the nervous system. Here are some tips on how to approach and improve this asana in your practice:

#1: Your elbows need to be closer together than you may think. Your elbows should be stacked directly under your shoulders for proper alignment and stability. This is important in protecting your neck!

#2: Avoid jumping when coming up. Instead, engage your core and slowly lift one leg at a time keeping the legs bent until you find your balance.

#3: Have fun.
