šŸ—³ļøFeeling the election jitters? If so, you’re not alone. As a recent article put it, ā€œAmerica is having a panic attack,ā€ and that headline has resonated with many.

With the constant influx of headlines, many feel weighed down by worry, fear, and the unknown. And these feelings can quickly take over in an intense climate, but it is important to manage stress as much as possible.

Here are 3 things I implore you to focus on now and at any time you’re feeling caught in a strong emotional rip tide:

šŸ“° Take intentional breaks from the news
ā˜• Talk with a friend for a fresh perspective
🧩 Focus on the things you CAN control — examples include:

• How often you check your phone.
• How you nourish and fuel your body.
• Exercise and time outside each day.
• How organized your home/car is.
• The music you listen to.
• How often you call loved ones.
• Who you follow, the websites you visit, the blogs you read.

Grounding yourself in small steps can bring calm. Let’s lean into balance, one mindful moment at a time😌
