STUDIO ANNOUNCEMENT - We would like to share Cat Valadez’s transition from General Manager at Carlsbad and Programs Manager to Director of Programs for YogaSix Carlsbad, Solana Beach, Point Loma and St. Louis in Q1 of 2025!

In her new role, Cat will work closely with the General Managers and Lead Teachers to ensure the studios thrive and processes are streamlined on both the programs and operations sides of the studios. She will continue to teach, develop instructors, manage the class schedules, and help plan workshops and events.

MEET JESSICA ✨
✨I have been a member since Carlsbad opened, and perhaps before... so at least a decade!
✨ My favorite YogaSix moments: I have
1) When it works, usually in vinyasa class, the magic happens, and I am elevated and aware, receptive and humming
2) When I push myself, in a playful way, and get myself into the elevated peak pose, surprising myself and making myself proud is the best feeling!
✨ Why I love YogaSix: Community
I love seeing the same faces, learning from teachers that I love, growing with others who also appreciate the practice and the particular practice space.

MEET ROBIN ✨
✨I’ve been a member since May 2024, with my first official class on the 23rd. I joined Y6 after the 5/19 ACTV Club event with Vuori at the Forum.

✨My favorite class moment was the absolute primal sense of relief after surviving my first Power Yoga class with Merida. “You can do hard things for 3...2...1...” has infiltrated my brain, whispering it to me softly any time I encounter something challenging. It’s a core memory for sure!

✨Aside from the obvious physical health benefits, the studio has introduced me to a level of tranquility that I thought was unattainable. I’ve been doing mindfulness and breathing exercises for years, but it felt superficial and disconnected. My practice at Y6 the last three months has finally brought everything together and I am absolutely addicted!
