🎓✨ Huge congratulations to Bria on graduating from St. Augustine with her Master’s in Occupational Therapy with high honors! 🙌

When Bria first joined us back in 2020 as a volunteer, an anthropology student with a heart for helping others, none of us could have imagined how her journey would unfold. Her time at Adapt, combined with her passion for supporting our members, inspired a bold career shift into OT.

We are beyond proud of the incredible therapist Bria has become, but even more proud of the amazing human she is. Her smile, energy, and presence brighten every room she walks into. 💛✨

🌟 Meet Shayan! 🌟

Shayan is a 3rd-year kinesiology student at Cal State San Marcos with a minor in psychology. He’s already a dedicated caregiver for one of our members and wanted to dive deeper into the industry by joining Adapt’s internship program. 🙌

Originally from Turkey, Shayan moved here when he was 14 and is passionate about gaining hands-on experience to support others on their recovery journeys.

You’ll find him here on Wednesdays — be sure to say hi, give him a warm welcome, and help him feel at home in the Adapt community! 💙

Today was our very first Lowe’s Red Vest Day 🛠💚 Associates from Lowe’s rolled up their sleeves and put the first coat of paint on the walls of our new aquatic therapy center!

Choosing a color wasn’t easy… but when we found this perfect green and learned it was called Green Bay, we knew it was meant to be. 💚 Todd was one of our main drivers to bring aquatic therapy to Adapt after many weekend spent in the YMCA pool with Alex. A proud Packers fan, this felt like the perfect way to carry a little piece of him into this space.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our dear friend and Adapt family member, Dale.

Dale brought so much light and laughter to everyone around him. He was a champion for the ALS community, a friend to everyone, and someone whose wit and warmth left a lasting mark on us all.

At the request of Dale’s family, we’re sharing a way to honor his life and legacy. Donations in his memory can be made to the Hope Scholarship at Adapt - supporting others living with ALS to receive the same care, connection, and community that meant so much to Dale.
