My daughter knows exactly what I do. She uses the words, hears the stories, sees it all.
Her face at the end 😂
So today she asks if I can cook, and I jokingly start explaining my job like that proves my point.
I tell her I spend my days helping people look refreshed, feel confident, and paying attention to every small detail.
She cuts me off and says,
“Ok, but can you make me a sandwich?”
Kids really do understand what you do and still choose to humble you.
She knows what I do. She just refuses to let it mean I am impressive in any other part of life.
I am convinced it is intentional. Their job is to keep us grounded.
One day she will connect the dots.
For now, I am running a business and getting roasted in my own kitchen.
Anyone else have kids who understand what you do and still act like you are questionable at best? 👇
