Bowenwork is a myofascial, neuromuscular release technique that is beneficial in achieving whole body heath. It is a hands-on bodywork over clothing, where very gentle moves are performed over muscles and soft tissue. Bowenwork stimulates the nervous system to reset and heal permanently. Frequent pauses between moves allow the body to process the work. The body will continue to process and respond for up to 10 days after each session. It is extremely effective in helping with a variety of acute and chronic ailments: back pain, sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, fibromyalgia and other conditions that do not respond satisfactorily to more conventional approaches. These are conditions that respond well to Bowen Work:
