October is in full swing-check out our calendar of events! Thursday we made homemade apple sauce, apple crisp, and apple pie bars with the residents. We are so thankful for family members and friends of residents who donated apples and to some of the Mahtowa Covenant Church ladies and friends of residents who volunteered their time to bake with us. One even brought actual lard to make the pie crusts with! 🥧 There were lots of apples to be peeled, cored, and cut up for all our yummy treats! We enjoyed the fruits of our labor this afternoon at our Apple Fest and even servd apple cider to drink! Happy Fall! 🍎 🍏 🍎 🍏 🍎 🍏
