This report highlights shared challenges in corrections and some encouraging progress—namely, the continued emphasis on investing in correctional programs that work.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons had an eventful year with positives, negatives and brought closure to some old issues. BOP will enter 2025 with many challenges.
