We are so happy that spring is finally here! Here are some updates:

We would like to introduce our dental assistant Mehak Zahra! She began her dedicated dental profession by attending the Islamabad Institute of Dental Sciences in Pakistan and received her bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery in 2019. She relocated to the USA in 2021 and since November of 2023, she has been an integral part of the Smile Arts Dental team, working as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant(EFDA).

With two years of experience in the dental field, Mehak is passionate about providing exceptional care and enjoys the opportunity to interact with patients daily. Her friendly demeanor and genuine interest in their well-being make many feel at ease and welcomed. Mehak is committed to enhancing her skills and contributing positively to the dental community. We are so happy that she has become such an important part of our office!

*IMPORTANT*

Recently, we have noticed that some insurance companies are significantly delaying payments on claims. In some cases, we have been waiting for cases to be processed for more than 3 months. Please understand that we cannot wait that long for services to be paid for. Hygienists are asking for pay the same day. Insurance companies put small dental businesses in jepeardy From now on, we will be waiting up to 60 days for claims to be processed and paid. If not, we will close the claim and it will be the patient's responsibility to pay for the procedure in full. Your participation always expedites the process!

Hope your January is going well!

We would like to remind you of some important information:

- Please make sure we have your updated dental plan

- We ask for your patience as we still are experiencing a staffing shortage.

- To make planning for your appointment easier and more convenient, please be sure to text us with confirmations or any changes!

- We will be discontinuing our acceptance of the Anthem 200 plan by the end of February. However, we will continue to be PPO providers for Anthem 300 and continue to accept Anthem insurance in general. If you have any questions, please let us know!
