One of the first things the Run Fit Video Analysis looks at is Initial Impact: Which part of your foot makes initial contact with the ground? Heel, rear-foot, mid-foot, forefoot and then rear foot, or only forefoot? Each of these can tell us a great deal about what is happening further up the chain.

Thicker, more cushioned shoes have allowed for a more aggressive heel strike to become fairly common. This can allow over striding causing unnecessary impact on the knees, hips and the low back.

Don’t let an easily corrected issue cause you problems down the road. Give your running game a tune up. Visit us at www.Methodistsports.com/MSMfit to schedule an in depth Run Fit Analysis at our Carmel, Greenwood or Westfield locations today!
