Exciting news! Jennifer Burton, Vizient National Account Rep, and Casey Savage, Vizient Senior Implementation Advisor, presented the Impact Standardization Program Executive Savings Award to Anna Araiza, Nobis Corporate Director of Supply Chain.

Anna is an industry supply chain leader with expertise in negotiating, contracting, and planning. She has successfully led numerous hospital openings and managed supply chain teams. As one of the original leaders, she has been with Nobis since the company's inception.

This program aims to help healthcare providers align cost, quality, and market performance by driving efficiency and cost savings through smarter supply chain purchasing and contracting.

We are fortunate to have Anna leading our supply chain teams across our Nobis hospitals. Thanks to you and your supply chain teams, and congratulations on achieving this prestigious award.

We have great appreciation for the caregivers of our patients in our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. Caregivers can be defined as the professionals who care for the patients and also the family, friends, and resources who also care for the patient outside the hospital. Our medical rehabilitation teams support all caregivers by serving as advocates for our patients and families and providing them with resources, training, and emotional support during their hospital stay with our hospital and as they prepare to return to live their best life! Our discharge to home is above the national average at 77%!

November is COPD Awareness Month. Respiratory health can be more challenging during the winter months, especially for people who aren’t able to enjoy fresh air and who may have a higher exposure to drier air inside their warm homes. Additionally, flu season can significantly affect people who have compromised lung conditions like COPD. Small steps, like staying active and following treatment plans, can make a big difference in managing lung conditions.
