Please join us in congratulating Rachel, who our residents voted as August’s Employee of the Month!

Rachel has been a part of the CHL family since November 2020, starting as our Health Surveillance Coordinator during the height of COVID. With her strong organizational skills and transportation background, she transitioned smoothly into driving and later into her current role as Transportation Coordinator. In this position, Rachel not only coordinates appointments and transportation but also provides comfort and reassurance to residents on the way to their visits.

“I love the one-on-one time I get with residents. It’s nice to be an ear for their concerns or fears, and I do my best to help ease their worries,” Rachel shared.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys concerts, caring for her 2 cats, 3 dogs, and a snapper turtle—all of whom keep her very busy! She even helps out at CHL in her free time as a QMA on the medication cart.

We’re so thankful for everything Rachel does for our residents and team. Congratulations, Rachel—you truly deserve this honor!
