Pain isn’t always a local problem — it’s often a system problem.

This client came in dealing with pain in both knees and his right groin both on and off the bike. When we dug deeper during Physical Therapy sessions, a big contributor to his issue was actually his right ankle. He has a history of Achilles issues that tends to flare up with higher levels of training. This was changing how he moved and how he absorbed force when he walked, trained, and lived life.

When one area isn’t doing its job well, something else usually has to pick up the slack.

Instead of just chasing symptoms, we focused on improving how his right ankle moves and handles load, while helping his body relearn how to share stress more evenly between both legs and joints.

He’s made huge progress in just 3 sessions.

The body is really good at compensating… until it isn’t. The cool thing is that his pain is significantly improving, but so is his performance! If you’re looking for long-term solutions, make sure you’re incorporating the whole body!

One of the most important parts of physical therapy isn’t the exercise.
It’s education.

When patients understand:
• why they’re hurting
• what is actually going on in their body
• how movement helps (instead of harms)

They heal better.
They move with confidence.
They stop feeling afraid of their body.

This is why we teach — not just treat.

Even though we’re not a true bike shop (and we love the amazing shops we partner with), this recognition means the world to me. It tells me that the work we’re doing — helping riders feel better, ride stronger, and enjoy their time on the bike — is truly making a difference.

“Movement is Medicine.”

If you’ve ever worked with me, you’ve heard me say it — probably more than once.

Cycling isn’t just a sport; it’s one of the best tools we have to stay healthy, strong, and moving for life. The ability to move well, recover well, and keep doing what we love on the bike is one of the best indicators of long-term health and longevity.

Thats why this Revolution Bike Fitting is not just about bike fitting - it’s about building your fitness journey. (If you don’t know, I have Physical Therapy and Strength and Conditioning services as well!) Building this cash-based clinic has been a huge leap, but it’s allowed me to help riders in a way traditional healthcare simply can’t — with time, attention to detail, and a true focus on performance and prevention.

Excited for what’s ahead and thankful for the cycling community that’s supported this vision from day one. Here’s to more miles, better movement, and staying on the bike for decades to come. 🚴‍♂️💪
