We Want to Hear From You!

If you or someone you love has been impacted by dysphagia (difficulty swallowing), your story matters—and your input is urgently needed.

The recording of the recent Externally-Led Patient-Focused Drug Development (EL-PFDD) Meeting on Dysphagia is now available. This meeting was an opportunity for the patient and caregiver community to share firsthand how dysphagia affects daily life, treatment experiences, and quality of care.

If you weren’t able to attend live, you can still make your voice heard. We encourage you to watch the recording and submit written comments to the FDA. These comments will help inform future research priorities, treatment development, and policy decisions related to swallowing disorders.

🔗 Watch the recording and submit your comments:

🗓️ The deadline to submit written comments is July 10, 2025.

This is a rare and meaningful opportunity to influence how swallowing disorders are understood and addressed at the national level. Please take a few minutes to share your experience.

💜 That’s a wrap on Dysphagia Awareness Month 2025 💜

From myth-busting with Laryn-Jeopardy to amplifying patient voices at the EL-PFDD Meeting on Dysphagia, this month was about education, advocacy, and connection.

🎯 We heard from people living with dysphagia.
🎤 We spoke directly to the FDA.
🧠 We learned with 30 days of swallowing trivia.

And most importantly—we reminded the world that swallowing matters.

Thank you to our amazing community, sponsors, and partners who made this campaign possible. 💪 👄 💙
