Ever skipped a hobby because you didn’t think you were flexible enough?

Same. 🙋‍♀️

I used to think flexibility was a prerequisite.

Turns out—it’s a byproduct of doing the thing.

In this carousel, I share how my flexibility improved without stretching for hours or chasing poses—just by moving in thoughtful, consistent ways.

✨ If you’re curious what that can look like, my course Root to Rise: A Mind-Body Approach to Handstands starts July 16. Only 5 spots left!

💬 Questions? Drop them below or DM me—I love hearing from you.

✨ New blog post! ✨

What does it actually feel like to reach overhead?

In this short, floor-based exploration, you’ll try three simple variations to sense your arms, shoulders, and torso in new ways. No props required—just a bit of space and a playful mindset.

Whether you’re looking to improve mobility or reconnect with how your body moves, this is a gentle, grounding place to begin.

👉 Read the full blog and try the video practice here: https://www.jennpilotti.com/blog/play-with-your-overhead-reach

Let me know what you notice 💫

In this short, floor-based movement exploration, you’ll be invited to play with three different overhead positions. Each variation offers a unique opportunity to sense how your arm connects to your torso—from your armpit all the way to your fingertips. What You’ll Need: Just the floor (a yoga ...

Movement is never just about muscles.

It’s about perception, sensation, and your brain’s map of your body.

This is what we explore in Root to Rise, a 6-week handstand program that goes deeper than just “hollow body.”

Want to feel more confident upside down?

Let’s move differently.

Handstands aren’t a magical skill.

They won’t help you run faster or jump higher.

But they will improve your body awareness, teach you how to transfer weight between your feet and your hands (and back again), and—maybe most importantly—they can be fun.

So, what does the first clip have to do with the second?

(Hint: the exercise matters a lot less than the focus.)

What does puppy training have to do with handstands?

More than you think. 🐾🤸‍♀️

I started training our pup in short, 5–10 minute sessions—just a few times a week.

Turns out, that’s exactly the kind of practice that sticks.

The same goes for movement.

Want to actually learn a handstand (not just survive one)?

It’s not about grinding.

It’s about rest, awareness, and focused effort—spread out over time.

This is the foundation of Root to Rise, my 6-week handstand course built on a sustainable, mind-body approach.

Think handstands are only for the strong, super flexible, or fearless? 🤸‍♀️

What if I told you handstands are actually for anyone who is curious about going upside down?

Here are 5 common misconceptions about handstand practice—and what might actually help you find balance, control, and confidence when you’re upside down.

💡 Hint: It’s less about brute strength and more about connection.

👇 Which myth have you believed?

Root to Rise, my 6-week mind-body handstand course, opens soon.

Sometimes the simplest movements reveal the most.

In this short, 2-minute video, I guide you through a gentle exploration of weight shifting—from your hands to your feet. You’ll get curious about how your hands feel on the ground, where your weight naturally wants to go, and how to build comfort transitioning that weight forward and back.

This kind of practice helps build trust in your body, especially in movements that ask you to support yourself with your hands (think crawling, floorwork, or inversions).

Take two minutes, find a little space on the floor, and let’s move together:
