Every incision leaves a ‘scar’. What people really want to know is how obvious the scar will be.

There are a lot of factors that influence the appearance of an incisional scar: how the incision was made, what was done through that incision, the technique of wound closure and the skill of the surgeon doing it, and the skin type, pigment and location on the body was the incision is located.

Our completely delightful patient had jaw and chin implants placed elsewhere. She felt she looked quite masculine afterward, and came to me for some total facial reshaping.

She reports to us that she’s very happy with the new changes and her softer look. 😎
