I think one of the biggest misconceptions about massage therapy is that it’s only for people who are “good at relaxing.” 💆🏼‍♀️✨

But honestly?

Most of the people who walk into my room are the exact opposite.

They’re the people holding everything together 🤍

The people carrying mental checklists 24/7 📝

The people answering texts while making dinner, remembering appointments, switching laundry, and trying not to completely mentally crash by the end of the day 😅

They’re exhausted.. but so used to functioning that they don’t even realize how tense their body has become.

And over time, your body adapts to that stress state.

Your shoulders stay elevated.
Your jaw stays tight.
Your breathing gets shallow.
Your nervous system forgets what “relaxed” even feels like. 😞

Then one day someone asks how you’re doing and your answer is:

“Fine. Just tired.”

I hear that one a lot. 💛

What I’ve learned through years of massage therapy is that people are craving more than just “pampering.”

They’re craving relief.
Quiet.
Comfort.
A chance to stop bracing for a little while 🌿

And no, massage doesn’t magically erase stress or responsibilities.

But it can remind your body what it feels like to soften again.

To breathe deeper.
To unclench.
To fully exhale.
To rest without guilt for one hour 🕯️

Sometimes that matters more than people realize.

So I’m curious… what’s been weighing on your body the most lately?

Stress?
Work?
Parenting?
Poor sleep?
Being constantly overstimulated?
Old injuries?
Or just life in general? 🤍

No judgment. No fixing.

And if your body has been asking for a break lately… this is your reminder that you’re allowed to take care of yourself too ✨

Some people carry stress so long.. they forget what relaxed even feels like.

If you’re constantly:
• Holding tension in your neck and shoulders
• Running on exhaustion
• Mentally overloaded
• Taking care of everyone except yourself
• Saying “I’m fine” while your body says otherwise…

You are exactly the kind of client I love helping. 🤍

My massage room is for the women (and men) who do it all and need a place to finally exhale.

Whether you need deep tissue, relaxation, prenatal, cupping, or just 30-120 minutes where nobody needs anything from you.. you are welcome here.

You don’t have to wait until you’re completely burned out to take care of yourself.

Message me when you’re ready to feel like yourself again ☁️✨

You keep saying you’re “fine” ..
. but your shoulders stay tight no matter how much you stretch.
Your jaw is constantly clenched.
You’re exhausted even after sleeping.
You feel overstimulated, touched out, mentally drained, and like your body never fully relaxes.

And truthfully?
You’ve gotten so used to carrying stress that you barely notice how heavy it feels anymore.

I see others like this every single week.

Women who take care of everyone else first.
People who keep pushing through pain and tension because life doesn’t stop.
People who don’t realize how badly they need care until they finally get on the table and exhale for the first time in months.

If this sounds like you, this is your reminder:

You do not have to earn rest.
You do not have to wait until burnout.
And your pain is not something you just have to “live with.”

You deserve to feel good in your body too. 🤍

If you’re ready to give yourself some time to relax on my table, DM me now to book your appt 📲

“I need a massage… but…”

➡️ “I don’t have time.”
You deserve care before your body forces you to slow down.

➡️ “I feel awkward booking one.”
That’s completely normal. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for from the moment you walk in.

➡️ “I can’t fully relax.”
You do not have to “be good at relaxing” to benefit from massage. Most people come in carrying stress, tension, overstimulation, and exhaustion.

➡️ “I’m worried it’ll hurt.”
Relaxation massage should feel calming, not punishing. Sessions are always adjusted to your comfort level.

➡️ “I feel guilty spending money on myself.”
Taking care of your body and nervous system is not a waste. You carry yourself through everything in life.

➡️ “I’ll book when things calm down.”
For most people… things never magically calm down on their own.

You don’t need to earn rest. You don’t need to wait until you’re completely burnt out and you don’t have to keep pushing through tension, headaches, poor sleep, or constant stress just because you’re used to it.

Massage isn’t just about pampering.
It’s about feeling like yourself again. Lighter, calmer, and a little more connected to your own body instead of constantly running on empty.

📲 DM me or book your session online when you’re ready to stop just “getting through” your days and start feeling better in your body again.

Who do I see the most?

I work with the mom who hasn’t sat down all day but still can’t sleep at night because her mind won’t shut off.

The hairstylist whose shoulders burn by noon.

The nurse who lives in survival mode.

The person who says, “I didn’t realize how bad I felt until I finally slowed down.”

That’s who I help.

My goal isn’t just to give you an hour on the table.
It’s to help your body stop bracing for stress all the time.

Because when your nervous system has been stuck in overdrive for months (or years), your body starts treating tension like it’s normal.

You deserve to know what it feels like to take a full breath again.
To turn your head without stiffness.
To not carry the weight of everything in your neck and shoulders.

Massage isn’t fixing “just muscles.”
It’s giving your body a chance to feel safe enough to let go.

And that changes more than people realize 🌿

Signs your body may need a massage:
• headaches
• tight shoulders
• poor sleep
• stress overload
• sore feet/legs
• feeling mentally exhausted

I think a lot of people assume their body is “just getting older” or “just always going to hurt.”

But honestly, most of the time?

Your body is adapting to the stress it’s been carrying for way too long.

Long work days.
Mental overload.
Driving constantly.
Poor sleep.
Always being needed by someone.
Never fully relaxing.

Your shoulders tighten.
Your jaw clenches.
Your nervous system stays stuck in “go mode.”

And after a while, tension starts feeling normal.

That doesn’t mean your body is failing you.
It usually means your body has been trying to protect you for a long time.

Sometimes the goal of massage isn’t just relaxation.
Sometimes it’s reminding your body that it’s safe to soften again. 💛

Sometimes rest IS productive 🤍

To take time for yourself, please message me to get scheduled! 📲

You know that feeling when your body is “fine”… but also not really fine?

Like you’re functioning, but your shoulders are quietly living up near your ears, your sleep isn’t deep anymore, and you keep saying “I just need to rest” but rest never actually hits the reset button.

I see that all the time.

And most people don’t realize they’re not just tired… they’re carrying stress in their body like it’s normal.

That’s usually the point where people come in.

Not because they’re falling apart, because they’re tired of feeling stuck in that version of themselves.

After a session, it’s not just “looser muscles.”

It’s:

* breathing deeper without noticing
* sleeping without tossing and turning
* waking up without that heavy, already-behind feeling
* actually feeling present in your own life again

One client recently told me, “I didn’t realize how much tension I was living in until it was gone.”

And honestly, that’s the shift I love most.

I only take a limited number of appointments each day so I can stay fully present with every client (no rushed, back-to-back burnout energy here).

If your body has been asking for a reset, this is your sign to actually listen to it.

You can message me or book through my website, whatever feels easiest for you.

Most people don’t come to massage because everything is perfect.

They come because something has been building for a while.. stress that won’t fully go away, tension that keeps coming back, sleep that doesn’t feel as restorative as it should, or that constant feeling of being “on” even when they finally sit down.

And what I want you to know is this:

Your body isn’t working against you. It’s adapting to how you’ve been living.

When life stays busy, your nervous system stays alert. When your shoulders carry stress, your muscles learn to hold it. When rest is rare, your body starts to normalize exhaustion.

Over time, that becomes your “normal” .. even though it doesn’t actually feel good.

This is where the shift happens.

Massage, when done with intention and consistency, isn’t just about temporary relief. It’s about interrupting those patterns your body has been stuck in long enough for it to remember what ease feels like again.

That’s the real transformation I care about: Less bracing. Less carrying. Less surviving in your own body.

And more moments where you realize: you’re not holding your breath without noticing it. Your shoulders aren’t glued to your ears. Your mind isn’t racing while your body tries to keep up.

Just space. Just relief. Just you, feeling like you again.

I don’t take lightly that people trust me with that.

I show up here consistently because trust isn’t built in one conversation. It’s built over time.. through presence, honesty, and actually being here when you need support, not just when it’s convenient.

If you’ve been feeling that “something is off but I can’t quite fix it” kind of tension… I’d love to know what that shows up like for you.

Neck? Shoulders? Headaches? Mental overload?

Drop it in the comments. I read every response, and I genuinely want to understand what people are carrying.
