A gathering celebrating Camela's life will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Prince Masonic Lodge, 220 East Water Street, Princeton, Indiana. The gathering will begin with a service honoring Camela and end with a meal and time of fellowship

Camela was born on August 18th, 1992 and passed away on May 28th, 2025 at the age of 32

Meet Miranda Groff

Miranda has been with Roberts and Cook Funeral Service since the very beginning, bringing with her over seven years of experience from Cook Funeral Chapel. She and her husband, Rodney, have been married for 54 years and make their home in Grayville. They are proud parents to their daughter, Tara, and loving grandparents to Alyssa (and her husband Nate), Cassidy, Kami, and Peyton.

For 35 years, Miranda and Rod faithfully served in full-time pastoral ministry across Illinois and Kentucky. Though officially retired in 2016, they continue to serve area churches in interim pastoral roles.

Miranda views her work at our funeral homes not just as a job, but as a ministry, caring for grieving families with the compassion and grace that defines our mission. She is a true example of service, and we’re blessed to have her as an essential part of our team.

Outside of work, Miranda enjoys baking, sharing meals with friends and family, walking, and being a proud fur mom to four cats and one dog. To us, she’s not just a team member, she’s family.

Welcome Becky Brown – Our New Office Manager
We are excited to welcome Becky Brown as the newest member of our team at Roberts and Cook Funeral Service. Becky brings valuable experience in funeral service, having previously served as an office manager. Her background also includes dedicated work in senior adult living, healthcare, and special education, all fields that speak to her compassionate heart and genuine desire to serve others.

Originally from Rockholds, Kentucky, Becky has called White County home since childhood. She now resides in rural White County near Crossville with her husband, Jerrad Brown. Becky is a proud mom to Ethan Mahon, Emily Mahon, Brody Brown, and Colton Brown, and a loving Mamaw to her grandsons, Kooper and Walker.

When she’s not at the funeral home, Becky enjoys spending quality time with her family. Her kindness, caring nature, and commitment to helping others make her a perfect fit for our mission of serving families with dignity, grace, and compassion.
