Volunteer Spotlight: Carol 🤍

Carol is one of those rare people who brings a calm, genuine presence into every space she enters. Carol works directly with patients in their homes and facilities. She connects quickly, listens deeply, and creates meaningful conversations that help patients feel seen and heard.

It doesn’t stop there. Carol is always the first to raise her hand to help, whether it’s supporting our community garden or showing up for special events like Mother’s Day.

You know, Amari now has a therapy dog, right?

Our certified therapy dog, Renny, brings comfort, companionship, and moments of joy to the patients and families we serve. From reducing stress and anxiety, to offering emotional support and connection, his presence can make a meaningful difference during difficult times. As a certified therapy dog, Renny is specially trained to be calm, gentle, and responsive. He provides safe and supportive interactions while always prioritizing the needs and comfort of those around him. Sometimes all it takes is a wagging tail to bring a little sunshine into someone’s day.
