Introducing our Medical Social Workers, Volunteer Coordinator, Spiritual Chaplains and Bereavement Coordinators. Our multidisciplinary team works together to support the whole person — body and mind!

Medical Social Workers provide emotional support, counseling, and resources to help both patients AND families navigate challenges, plan ahead, and feel supported during difficult transitions.

Bereavement Coordinators walk alongside families through grief, offering guidance, education, and continued support long after a loss, ensuring no one grieves alone.

Chaplains / Spiritual Care Providers offer comfort, presence, and spiritual support — meeting patients and families wherever they are, regardless of faith or belief.

Together, these roles create a circle of care, working hand-in-hand with our clinical team to ensure every patient and family feels heard, supported, and cared for in every way.

Meet Renny, Amari’s newest (and fluffiest) employee — our hardworking therapy dog! 🐾💙

Renny has quite the résumé already. He was originally bred to be a guide dog for the blind, and John’s (our SCP) daughter raised him from 8 weeks old until he entered formal guide dog training. He made it all the way to the finish line… almost.

Turns out, Renny got just a little too excited about the world around him. He had a few too many happy distractions for a guide dog’s career path. So his journey took a different turn, and we couldn’t be more grateful for it. 🌿

He’s now part of the Amari family, almost ready to bring joy to our patients and families.

It’s picture day! Always grateful for the heart and dedication they bring to our patients and families. 💙🌿

In Home Health, it takes a coordinated team to deliver safe, compassionate care.
RNs lead the clinical care in the home. They assess patients, create care plans, manage medications, perform skilled nursing tasks, educate families, and coordinate with physicians and the broader care team. LVNs provide hands-on nursing under the direction of an RN. They monitor vital signs, administer medications, perform wound care, and support ongoing treatments to keep patients comfortable and stable at home. HHAs support daily living needs such as bathing, grooming, mobility assistance, and personal care. They play a vital role in maintaining comfort, dignity, and routine for patients.

Together, these roles form a team that delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care right where it’s needed most — at home.

After our Teamsgiving celebration, we made sure the spirit of gratitude continued beyond our walls. All the leftover food from our feast was packaged up and shared with members of our local unhoused community. 🧡

A small act, but one that reflects what Amari is all about — caring for people, showing kindness, and extending compassion wherever we can. 🌿

Grateful for a team that leads with heart, not just in their work, but in the way they show up for others.
