Because Mercury is so close and so electric, its retrograde (Rx) phase has quite the reputation. We've been led to believe that Mercury Rx is mostly about communication, technology and time. Yet Mercury's deepest Medicine is about healing karmic fears from unresolved other life issues. These symptoms can feel as mysterious as they do intense yet can be traced back to their root through our soul contract.
This last Mercury Rx phase began 11/25 in the magickal 13th Zodiac of OPHIUCHUS and as a result, we have the opportunity to not only heal this karma, but to TRASCEND these fears. Around 12/5 the retrograde motion moves Mercury back into Scorpio bringing the essence of 'death and rebirth' - these 10 days are allowing us to face and surrender these fears. Mercury will stop moving backwards marking the end retrograde on 12/15 and will hold for a day or so before journeying forward again through Scorpio heading back to Ophiuchus.
This should be the time when we begin to feel relief from the intensities of these cosmic forces. As we move closer to the week of Christmas Mercury will be moving closer to Ophiuchus again, calling in the reinforced freedom from fears and our move into LOVE. Mercury will be officially back in the magickal space of #13 on 12/27 and will be in the center of OPHIUCHUS for the shift into the New Year and the New Paradigm- leading us deeper into the 5D and The New Earth.
No matter which holiday you celebrate, if any this December- open to the Unconditional Love Frequency that the cosmos will be delivering. The process of cosmic alchemy needs pressure- that's why the fear is being exposed. It's for deep healing, never for punishment.
For me- it's imperative to understand the planet placements in the actual sky which includes all of the zodiacs in their different shapes and sizes.
PRO TIP- Go easy on yourself, esp. if you feel like you're losing ground on your healing. This is next level stuff and does not negate your past efforts. OBSERVE the fears and KNOW that YOU are not the fears, you are the CONSCIOUS OBSERVER bringing light to the old wounds. Do not make an identity out of the feelings. Understand they are surfacing for transmutation.
