That’s a wrap on the Thrive and Shine Summer Program! ☀️
Both sessions are officially complete—and WOW, what an incredible summer it’s been!

Our students had the opportunity to participate in so many hands-on learning experiences. From touring First Federal Bank 🏦 and Millers Greenhouse 🌿 to working alongside staff at Smithfield Diner and Little Caesars 🍕, they gained real-world skills in professional environments. They even got to visit the magistrate to learn about the law and the consequences of breaking it.

They also got to dig into some fun with gardening—thanks to the help of our amazing staff’s families, each student was able to plant their very own plant to take care of and watch grow! 🌱💚

We took a few fun and educational field trips to places like Fort Necessity, Hovatter’s Zoo, Pizza Hut, and more! 🦁🍕

But one of the most memorable moments was when our students hosted their very own restaurant. They served parents and members of the public and wrapped up the day with a heartwarming celebration where each student shared a poster about their career dreams and favorite part of the program. 💬🎓

We are so proud of all our students and incredibly thankful to all of our amazing community partners who helped make this possible. We truly cannot wait for next year—this summer was one to remember! 💛

AH-MAZING TALENT!!! If you didn’t get a chance to watch it live be sure to check out our live streams (a few technical difficulties)!! Everyone did a fantastic job! I’m blown away by the support that showed up to cheer everyone on and watching the individuals cheer on one another. Tonight was another reminder that everyone needs someone to lean on ❤️
