Happy World Breastfeeding Week!!!
Do you have a "number" for how long you nursed?
Some moms have days, months, years, or # of children.

As a mom who started out with formula and bottlefeeding for two of mine, I wound up nursing 2 kids over 5 years total.

Breastfeeding isn't always easy but it is worth it, whether for one day or 5 years! Moms rock!

I've been watching my glucose a lot lately and unable to have the sweet treats that I love. The good news is that my CGM and I are working it out and I am back in normal ranges thanks to the exercise bikes :-)
One of my amazing clients gifted me these candied lemon peels and they are wonderful because I can have one and it gets that sweet and tart and I can walk away. They are yummy!

As many of you know, our student Crista Swift is nearing graduation. While we plan to keep her around (there's still a few births left!) and hope to have her birth assist as she gets her own practice off the ground in the coming years, I personally couldn't be prouder of the midwife she's become. She's smart, dedicated, caring, and has a really sharp sense of humor just when you need it.
