It’s Occupational Therapy Month, so naturally we’re celebrating the real heroes of daily living… the ones helping people regain independence and figure out today’s Wordle before it ruins their mood. 😅🟩⬜

Fine motor skills? Cognitive strategies? Problem-solving? Emotional support after guessing three vowels and getting nowhere? That’s OT magic.

Shoutout to our amazing occupational therapist LIZ for helping people tackle life’s challenges—big and small, five letters at a time. 💙

Cooking up progress - one step at a time!🥕👩‍🍳

During this session, our patient worked alongside our fantastic OT Liz to prepare coleslaw, focusing on:
☑️fine motor skills
☑️coordination
☑️standing tolerance
☑️independence in daily tasks

Occupational therapy helps people regain the skills they need for real life. Today's goal was confidence in the kitchen - delicious mission accomplished!🥬🥗

Happy Occupational Therapy Month 🤍

This one’s for our own LIZ—who celebrates the smallest wins… because she knows they’re actually the biggest ones.

She helps her patients regain independence, confidence, and dignity—one task at a time. Whether it’s getting dressed, cooking a meal, or simply feeling like themselves again… Liz is there for every step.

She makes the hard days feel possible, the frustrating moments feel worth it, and the victories feel huge (because they are).

We are so grateful for the care, patience, creativity, and heart Liz brings to every single patient, every single day.

Drop some love for Liz below! 🤍👇

Not only has stress been linked to contributing to poor health behaviors such as smoking and overeating, but it can also trigger harmful responses in your body. This can include not only headaches, but also irregular heart rate and rhythm, inflammation and reduced blood flow. It is important to try to not only pinpoint what triggers your stress, but also ways to help reduce it. ❤
